Dr. Renato Saltz In May, 2002, Dr. Renato Saltz left his eight-year position as Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and the Director of the Summit Plastic Surgery Center at the University of Utah to fulfill a lifelong dream of opening his own plastic surgery clinic.
Dr. Saltz practiced and taught plastic surgery at the University of Utah Wasatch Clinics, and at the Summit Plastic Surgery Center in Park City from 1994-2002. Previous to working in Utah, Dr. Saltz taught and practiced plastic surgery at the Medical College of Georgia from 1990-94. One of the pioneers in endoscopic surgery in the United States, Dr. Saltz has special interest in facial cosmetic surgery, lasers, body contouring, breast surgery and breast reconstruction.
Memberships and Affiliations
Dr. Saltz is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society for plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) are among a select group of board-certified plastic surgeons who have attained the highest level of achievement in cosmetic surgical training, continuing education, and clinical experience.
Publications
Dr. Saltz has published and presented over 200 national and international papers including 17 chapters and four books.
