Dr. Renato Saltz, world-renowned surgeon and internationally recognized expert in the field’s cosmetic and plastic surgery, recently attended The Aesthetics Meeting 2014. This meeting is hosted annually by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation. The 2014 event took place in late April in San Francisco, California, over the course of several days, drawing in experts, surgeons, nurses, residents and students from all over the world.
The Aesthetics Meeting is one of the largest conferences of its kind. Held annually by ASAPS and the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation, the meeting calls upon leading experts in the field, like Dr. Saltz, to share knowledge and expertise to help fellow surgeons and nurses stay at the top of their craft. Ultimately, the goal is to improve patient safety and enhance practices around the world.
Dr. Saltz led several discussions and seminars covering many different areas, including a cadaver workshop on endoscopic techniques of the forehead and mid-face. Dr. Saltz also headed an educational opportunity at the meeting on lipoabdominoplasty and body contouring, procedures of particular interest to him.
