From Consult to Po-Op Care
Surgery is not a single appointment. It is a carefully guided process built on experience, structure, and communication.
After more than 30 years in private practice, Dr. Renato Saltz has refined every step — from your first call to your final follow-up — to ensure clarity, safety, and exceptional results. Whether you are traveling from out of state or live nearby, you will be supported at every stage.
1. Schedule Your Consultation
Call our office or send us a message. Our team will return your call promptly to schedule a surgical consultation with one of our surgeons at the time, day, and location that works best for you.
We offer consultations in both Salt Lake City and Park City, and we work closely with out-of-state patients to coordinate travel and timing efficiently.
2. Before Your Visit
You will speak with a Patient Care Coordinator who will:
- Learn about your goals
- Review surgeon options
- Discuss downtime and recovery
- Provide general pricing guidance
- Review scheduling
You will complete your health history and paperwork securely online prior to your visit.
3. Consultation Day
Your consultation is a comprehensive, personalized evaluation with the surgical team and surgeon.

Have your questions addressed
After meeting with your surgeon, our Patient Care Coordinator will review the plan, discuss scheduling, your estimated investment, financing options. To move forward and secure your surgery date, we will process a $1,000 non refundable deposit. You pre-operative appointment, lab orders and medical clearance requirements will be provided at that time.
4. Pre-Operative Appointment
Three to four weeks before surgery, you will return for your pre-op visit. At this appointment:

Discuss recovery and follow-ups

Complete final paperwork

Provide detailed surgery instructions and prescriptions
5. Surgery Day and Facilities
We operate at three accredited facilities, including Park City Hospital and St. Mark’s Hospital, providing access to hospital-level care and safety standards.
When appropriate, we offer overnight stays to ensure comfort and close monitoring.
6. After Surgery & Recovery
You will have access to our secure patient app, allowing direct 24/7 communication with our surgical team.
At each appointment, we will take clinical photos to document your progress and results.
