During your consultation, Dr. Saltz will educate you on the different options available, whether surgical or non-surgical. For example, if you are having a surgical procedure, you will be provided with details of the surgical procedure including its risks and complications, the financial investment that is required, and the psychological and emotional issues pertinent to the planned operation. You will also be informed about the many effective non-surgical treatments we offer to enhance your surgical results.
In order to ensure a thorough preoperative assessment, Dr. Saltz has developed a consultation process which is expanded to include a larger and much more comprehensive group of professionals: master aestheticians, certified massage therapists, medical-spa trained front desk personnel, and business managers. Thorough patient evaluation is key to choosing the best combination of surgical and non-surgical treatments for patient rejuvenation. A careful analysis is done to select the appropriate treatment and to prepare you for your complete facial rejuvenation journey.
Skin evaluations and preparation are offered to all new patients during the initial consultation when you meet one of our expert master aestheticians. The facial assessment focuses on skin type and complexion, skin texture and thickness, the degree of photoaging, severity of facial rhytids, and age-related gravitational changes. The aesthetician will use this time to inform you about our medical spa offerings and treatments protocols that will enhance any of the surgical procedures you may receive.
Once this information has been gathered, a comprehensive treatment plan can be formulated. This is not a preset treatment package expected to fit every patient.
