We like to think of our Laser Genesis treatments as laser facials. We use Laser Genesis to improve fine lines, redness, rosacea, and acne scarring, among other skin issues.
Laser Genesis is a comfortable, noninvasive treatment that can be used as a monthly skin rejuvenation treatment to continually keep renewing collagen production and improving the skin. Or it can be used to target specific issues, such as rosacea flare-ups. That’s the beauty of this treatment. Our Spa Vitoria patients love that Laser Genesis is painless, delivering nothing more than a simple warming sensation to the face, all the while doing some real work to improve the skin.
Laser Genesis stimulates new collagen and fibroblast growth, and it speeds up the natural exfoliation process where the skin turns over old cells and replaces them with new, healthier cells.

Laser Genesis is completely noninvasive. It works well with all skin types and tones. We all have areas with fine lines, acne scars, uneven textures, large pores, and other imperfections. Laser Genesis is great option for easy-to-take skin rejuvenation for anyone.
It responds, predictably, with a “wound-healing response.” This involves remodeling existing collagen at the site, and more importantly, the initiation of the production of new collagen. Since collagen provides the structural framework for our skin, increased collagen firms the skin, erases wrinkles, improves texture, and increases the skin’s thickness. This occurs over the course of a few weeks after your Laser Genesis treatment.
For the best results, we recommend a series of Laser Genesis treatments. This allows your collagen production to continue to increase, slightly overlapping between sessions. We recommend 3-4 sessions, about 4 weeks apart. From there, maintenance treatments once or twice each year are a good idea.
The collagen produced is, obviously, permanent. But your body continues to produce one additional percentage point less collagen every year after your 20th birthday, so that decline will continue. The boost provided by Laser Genesis stems that decline. Maintenance treatments over the long run can help mitigate your collagen loss.
Improvements made to acne scarring and fine lines are permanent.
This isn’t any downtime after a Laser Genesis session. If your skin is prone to becoming red, you may have some slight redness across the treatment areas that lasts about an hour. But that’s it. You can go right back to work or your normal activities.
These treatments are painless; we don’t even need to apply any topical numbing agents beforehand. Our patients like the warm tingling feeling that accompanies these treatments.
