We Love Our Saltz Men

We all live in Utah, an area that was formerly part of the Wild West. Heck, Robbers’ Roost was the nickname given to the canyon and surrounding area in southern Utah where Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch Gang would often meet up and hide out after one of their bank or train heists. 

Despite that history, it doesn’t mean today’s men want their skin to look as if they’ve been out on the trail, without sunscreen, for about 20 years. That’s why we offer lots of treatments tailored specifically for our male patients at Saltz Plastic Surgery/Spa Vitoria. 

In these two scary October blogs, let’s get into what we have for our Saltz Men.

CoolSculpting — No matter what kind of shape you’re in, we all have pockets of stubborn fat that are highly resistant to our efforts to make them go away. CoolSculpting uses a proprietary method to freeze these fat cells, leading to a 25 percent reduction in the fat in treated areas. CoolSculpting is the most popular non-invasive fat reduction treatment in the world, having been performed millions of times globally. Amazingly, CoolSculpting doesn’t require any needles or downtime. These treatments are FDA-approved and very effective. The FDA has approved CoolSculpting for eight different areas of the body: abdomen, flanks, thighs, banana roll, upper arms, back, bra line, and the jawline. The CoolMini handpiece allows CoolSculpting to remove fat on smaller areas, such as the jawline. 

Microneedling — Our SkinPen has 12 microneedles that oscillate up and down as the handpiece is moved across the treatment area. The microneedles create microscopic punctures through the epidermis down into the dermis. Although the tiny punctures heal within just a couple hours, the body responds with a wound-healing mechanism of remodeling existing collagen and creating new amounts of collagen and elastin. This reduces wrinkles, acne scarring, decreases large pores, and lessens the appearance of other scars.
