Cellfina Gives Your Cellulite the Cold Shoulder

Cellfina Salt Lake City, UT Some women think they’re alone dealing with the cellulite. Truth be told — this dimpling on the thighs and backside affects over 90% of women, even if you’re incredibly fit. What’s equally frustrating is that there seems to be nothing you can do about it!

You’ve probably seen the miracle balms and creams touted on infomercials on late night TV. Uh, they don’t work. They may temporarily make your cellulite look better, but only temporarily.

But at Saltz Plastic Surgery, we have Cellfinaâ„¢, the FDA-cleared procedure that actually improves the appearance of cellulite for at least two years! Cellfinaâ„¢ dramatically improves cellulite by attacking its cause.

And this is a good time for treating your cellulite with Cellfina™. That way you’ll be ready for the shorts and bathing suits of a 2019 Utah summer!

What is Cellfinaâ„¢?

The Cellfina™ system is a non-invasive procedure that actually treats the root cause of cellulite, the connective bands under a woman’s skin. The procedure smoothes away cellulite dimples and gives you back the confidence to wear swimsuits and short shorts again!

Why do women have cellulite and not men?

There is a misperception about cellulite. People believe it is due to fat buildup. Fat and cellulite are interconnected, but not due to an overabundance of fat. Cellulite is due to the way a woman’s connective bands trap fat. Men have thicker bands, more of them, and they form a crisscross pattern. This keeps the fat in place and it doesn’t pucker. Women have vertical connective bands that trap fat in pockets. At the spots of the connective bands, the skin is pulled down while fat pushes up around it. The result is dimpling on the thighs and buttocks.

This is why even very fit women can still have cellulite.

How does Cellfina work?

For a Cellfinaâ„¢ session, we first identify the areas with cellulite to be targeted, and we apply topical anesthetic. Next, the Cellfinaâ„¢ System uses a suction stablizer to pull the skin taut and stretch the cellulite-causing connective bands. The Cellfinaâ„¢ System uses a special handpiece that then releases the bands. This technology that breaks the connective bands is proprietary. Once the connective bands are released the skin bounces back upwards, no longer pulled down selectively by the bands.

How long will it be before I see results?

Results show themselves in as little as three days, as the skin calms down. From there, studies have shown long-term patient satisfaction, 85% at three months, 94% at one year, and 96% at two years.

Does Cellfina hurt?

Cellfinaâ„¢ sessions usually take less than an hour. Patients experience nothing more than some initial soreness and tenderness at the treatment sites, but this passes quickly.
